with the clutch screwed down tight, without the worry that you might lose a rod on a vicious take. They are available
in black and silver versions to suit your personal preference. Each lightweight aluminium retaining bar screws into

Handy product that can save your rod and reel...
A few times over the last year I have recieved takes from carp that have been so violent they have pulled my rod from the rests. On one occasion the rod was pulled into the river and I had to take a soaking to go and retrieve it before the carp took it into the murky depths. These ears really help when fishing locked up and prevent the rod being pulled from the alarm giving me extra confidence when fishing near snaggy area's.
