These specific Gemini Tidy Booms are perfect for creating ‘Low-Level’ Ronnie Rigs.
The standard Ronnie Rig is ruthless pop-up rig that offers superb hook holds, reacts
aggressively, always resets itself and can be fished in almost any situation.
We have tweaked the original/standard design to get the hook bait even closer to the
deck whilst ensuring the mechanics of the rig are still upheld. This tweak might
just prove the edge required to bank those big wary Carp.
Each 30lb boom section incorporates a 6mm 'Fused' loop at the back end and a Spinner
Swivel (no ring), 'Fused' into a 6mm loop, at the business end.
Simply add your hook of choice (preferably a medium curve shank), covering the
connection between the eye of the hook and the swivel with heat shrink or similar,
then add a means of connecting your hook bait to the hook
(normally bait screw or micro ring swivel, held in place by a hook stop).
