Featuring an ergonomic Nite Glo Crimp Tool, 10x 0.6mm and 10x 0.7mm crimps
and 10x Rock Bottom Crimp & Knot covers, this bundle contains all you need
to easily construct strong, neat & easy loops for your hooklinks and booms.
Precision machined from a durable stainless steel for optimum strength,
the jaws of the Nite Glo Crimp Tool feature a handy line cutter and 2
different sized notches for laterally crimping both 0.6mm and 0.7mm crimps.
An ergonomic overmoulded grip on the slimline handles allow the user to
comfortably provide the required pressure to secure the crimps in place
without slipping. The Nite Glo handles glow brightly in the dark, allowing
you to easily locate the tool in low-light conditions and a simple locking
clasp swings into place when required to hold the jaws of the tool firmly closed.
Particularly useful for stiff filaments, rig making with dexterity
constraints or simply a preference over conventional knots, simply
slide your chosen line through the appropriate crimp and feed it back
through the other hole again, creating the desired size loop. Line up
the crimp to the correct notch in the Crimp Tool jaws and squeeze
firmly to permanently lock the loop into place. Slide a Rock Bottom
Crimp & Knot cover over your secured crimp (or knot) to neatly cover
any potential snagging points with the streamlined bead shape.
The additional weight of the Tungsten helps to sink and pin down your
rig and can help to improve the hooking potential of a rig by creating
an anchor point which can be weighted even further by adding putty
to the ribbed ridges for maximum adhesion.
