All in-line weights have a minimised integral drop off slot to guide
line/leaders over them in a neat and controlled manner.
All in-line weights are supplied with dedicated inserts.
Each insert is tuned to the size of the weight, such that
the insert releases from the weight with a force proportional
to the size of the weight (insert releases easier for lighter weights, and
harder for heavier weights), for maximum hooking efficiency and fish safety.
All inserts are supplied with ‘pegs’ to secure the swivel within
the insert when fished in-line, to ensure the swivel never pulls
out of the insert before the insert releases from the weight,
for maximum fish safety (so in the event of a line breakage
the line/leader/tubing will pull through the large bore of
the weight, and not have to try to pull through the small bore
of the insert – essential for a safe in-line set-up).
The In-Line Inserts have two swivel fittings (+ & -) which have
different release forces, so when fished drop off (‘peg’ not used),
the set-up can be tuned to suit the size of Weight being used,
leader being used, and/or angling situation requirements
(what force you want the swivel to pull out of the insert,
and therefore how quick the Weight is dropped).
Both fittings are externally marked on the insert with an “+” & “-“.
“-“ is typically for Weights/leads up to 3oz, and “+” typically for
weights/leads over 3oz (but can be used differently to achieve a
specifically tuned operation).
All inserts have exactly 10mm exposed length out of the top of the
weights. In-Line Weights work in conjunction with Evolve In-Line
Tail Rubbers (sold separately).
A hard skin make the Weights extremely robust, withstanding extensive
long term use, and providing improved feedback on the lake bed in
front of you (feeling the weight down has never been easier).
The skin allows for a higher precision product, for unparalleled
accuracy in rig assembly.
All weights use the Evolve ‘dark camo’ finish, to compliment the
Evolve end tackle range of products, for consistent and exceptional
rig concealment.
All weights have a textured and non-reflective finish.
